How do I make the background I chose fit my pc screen?

I added a new pic to my background and for some reason cannot make it fit my screen. I have tried going to properties and changing the pixels in settings and that has done nothing. Please help!How do I make the background I chose fit my pc screen?

From the panel that you choose background images, change the dropdown from ';Center'; to';Stretch';.
under right click the desktop and choose properties-%26gt;display. in that menu choose Position:stretch.

that will make the image fit your desktop. if the image's resolution is smaller than the monitor's resolutionthen you may see the image quality drop.
choose ';stretch'; or ';fill'; in your desktop background settings look for the small down arrow to change it
