QUESTION ABOUT PICTURE PiXEL DENSITY PLEASE HELP?

is there anyway to change the pixel density of pictures? I saved pictures from the internet and they are very small, i want to make one my background but since its so small, when i try to stretch it it looks bad, and i know i can tile it but i want to be able to stretch it with it looking good. Will changing the pixel density help this and how can i do it? I have Photoshop, if you can using that program. THank you.QUESTION ABOUT PICTURE PiXEL DENSITY PLEASE HELP?
The best way I've found in Photoshop is to increase the size of the image only 10% at a time. I've made an action to do this. Go to the Image Menu and choose Image size. Make sure your resampling image interpolation method (under the preferences) is set to Bicubic Smoother. Switch the unit of measurement from inches to percent. and type in 110, which increases your image size 10%.QUESTION ABOUT PICTURE PiXEL DENSITY PLEASE HELP?
In Photoshop go to ';Image'; and then ';Image size';. You can change pixel density there but you will find that the blocks/pixels will remain. Instead of being made of one pixel each, they will be made of many. It is mostly impossible to made a finer pic out of a coarse one. But you can try to increase the pixels by 10% until you get it to the density you want. That will help. And then try things like using the Gaussian blur. You have a terrific program that will let you make all sorts of wonderful things happen if you play around with it. Have fun!
don't know.
hi, photoshop is one way , but it is better to download a free trial of a specialised resizer like ';STOIK smart resizer'; ( get it from download.com ).

you can use it for 3 or 4 weeks as often as you like. it is easy to use. e.g. change to 1000% and you can make a large image from a small one. the more pixels you have at the beginning the better the result will be. these specialised programs work better, because they take smaller steps at one time and work their way up. try it , if you don't like stoik, there are many others. good luck
