How do I change screen resolution?

We tried to change the settings from 640 by 480 pixels. However it won't let us change any of the settings. We just reinstalled windows if that means anything. Any advice would be appreciated. How do I change screen resolution?
You need the right driver for your video card to chagne your resoultion. How do I change screen resolution?
Right Click %26gt;Display Properties %26gt; Advanced
you gotta hit Apply or OK after you change the setting.
This means that the video drivers were not installed....xp should efault to an 800x600 resolution any lower indocates a driver issue...
right click %26gt; properties%26gt;setting [[windows xp]]
Go to your desktop and right click. Click on properties. After you've done that, go to the settings tab. Set your screen resolution and click ';Okay';. That should do it.
it's because the resolution isn't that low any more go to ur desktop%26gt; right click%26gt; properties%26gt; click on settings tab%26gt; now you'll see a little dial to move just move it to any resolution to fit ur needs I suggest 1024x768
Try to Reinstall your VGA Driver (Display Card Driver)

then Restart your Computer and then Try to change it again
Right click on the empty screen then click 'properties' then click 'settings' from here you should be able to change the screen resolution. If this does not work out click 'advanced' button in the 'advanced' part you can adjust the DPI to suit you. Hope that helps.

Of course if that fails try and see if the monitor drivers are installed.
if you installed you VGA driver correctly you can change it by right clicking on desktop select properties then go to settings tabe an change it
Right click on an empty space on your desktop. From the drop down window click on properties. In the Display properties window click on the last tab named settings. Under Display move the bar from left to right to change the resolution. Click apply then OK..
