QUESTiON ABOUT PICTURES?

is there anyway to change the pixel density of pictures? I saved pictures from the internet and they are very small, i want to make one my background but since its so small, when i try to stretch it it looks bad, and i know i can tile it but i want to be able to stretch it with it looking good. Will changing the pixel density help this and how can i do it? I have Photoshop, if you can using that program. THank you.QUESTiON ABOUT PICTURES?
increasing pixel density is hard and if done the picture wont look simular to the main one. as the emti holes are filled in with the best guess of the computer software.QUESTiON ABOUT PICTURES?
idk paint
The above poster, sharvani, is correct. The usual pixel density for internet postings is usually 72 dpi. This is to save time in the upload and download times. If you try to increase the size of the picture, all you really do is increase the size of the pixels. This is why you get the jaggy pictures when you try. You have to start with a higher resolution picture.

Good luck
Search for hi-res pics on the net. Stay away from ';free wallpaper'; deals. They sometimes contain spyware.
