I want to make a poster on cafepress.com for myself but when I upload the picture it says that it will be all blurry if I leave it that way. How can I change the pixels on the picture (I guess I'd have to increase them?) so that if I blow it up on a poster, it comes out clear? How do I fix the pixels on a picture so it isn't blurry...?
You really can't.
Sorta of like turning copper into gold or painting a mansion with a gallon of paint. You will need to re-shoot the picture at a much higher resolution.
If it is impossible to re-shoot then you might look into Genuine Fractals 6. It may help you resize your image. Maybe not. http://www.adorama.com/ISWOGF6P.htmlHow do I fix the pixels on a picture so it isn't blurry...?
you cant...either retake it or get a better camera with more mega pix. that can handle a print that big
This is really one area where better is bigger.
Chances are the photo you have placed with cafepress is of poor quality for the size enlargement you are requesting and they are trying to tell you so.
Yes, there are photo editing programs, such as Photo Shop, that can help ';round' the edges of a photo but you can only enlarge any photo, film or digital so far.
You can't just magically create pixels that will allow your image to be blown up to poster size. Image quality is a one way street, you can shrink an image and keep quality, but not vice versa.

it's been asked many times, with the same answer: impossible!
Not knowing the resolution of your original image has everything to do with how to answer your question but, since that information wasn't provided, all I can suggest is purchasing a program called Genuine Fractals ( http://www.shutterbug.com/equipmentrevie ) which will, to some extent, allow you to enlarge your image.
The advantage of Genuine Fractals to most programs that do enlarging is that it uses mathematical formulas to replicate in a more precise manor than the standard interpolation used by most editing software which 'softens' the image.
It's going for about $80 as a Photoshop plug-in and nearly $400 as a stand alone.
