yes u can do it by open the properties of ur desktop click on to the desktop n then right click n then select properties then go to setting option there u can have this option if u r using windows 98 it will be better to restart ur pc after change of this settings else in windows xp donnt need to restart ok

You can either Righ-Click your desktop and click properties or I belive you may also be able to click Display in the control panel. Then when that window is opne, click the setting tabs. and you should be able to change the pixels in there!

Repeatedly press Control-Alt-Delete, as fast as you can. Don't stop for any reason, and especially don't read anything that pops up.
Personally I would sudjest 1024x768 but if you wanna change your resolution just right click on your desktop, click properties, and go to display, you should be able to figure it out from there.
when in desktop mode, r-clik on screen, select properties, go to settings. adjust the slider bar to desired resolution.
