How do i change the picture pixels?

for instance i can only upload 2000 my pictures are always in the 3000. i have no idea if i need to change it on my camera or i can do it on my computer someone please help.How do i change the picture pixels?
The way to get the most resolution from your camera it to set it to the highest resolution your camera supports (some cameras call it Super Fine or Fine)



Then if you cannot get ';enough'; shots on your memory card, but some more .. at the cost of memory cards now days (under $10 for a 1GB card) there is no reason to shoot low quality images.



Trying to increase the quality using a photo program just does not work ... It is sort of like trying to paint a house with only a pint of paint.How do i change the picture pixels?
just pull it into a photo-editor and RE-SIZE it to the PIXEL density you want.
The only way you can change your pixels is from the source. Im guessing from the camera then.

There should be an option where the camera ask's you if you would like a certain Megapixel (e.g. 8MP, 7.5MP, 16:9WS, etc)

Basically, the bigger the Mega Pixels, the bigger your photo will appear on your computer.
