please help me i have copied a photo from the internet to my indesign file and it has come up blurry. i presume i have to change pixel size but don't know how!!!!!How do you change the pixels in indesign?
InDesign, by default, will make your picture look a little blurry or pixellated when you are in working mode, in order to work faster.
To see your images at their best quality, right click on the picture, go to Display Performance -%26gt; High Quality Display. If this does not resolve your issue, then the image you have has a low resolution and there's not much you can do. Try looking for a high resolution image if this is the case (www.sxc.hu has a huge library of free, high-res stock images). How do you change the pixels in indesign?
You can't make a pixellated photo clearer, unfortunately.
However, maybe this will help:
1) Save the photo from the internet onto your hard drive
2) Make a rectangle on InDesign
3) ';Place'; photo in the rectangle (click on the rectangle, type in ctrl+D, browse for the photo you just saved)
You can move the photo around inside the rectangle by using the white arrow, and you can move the rectangle around by using the black arrow. Adjust as needed!
