Right click on the picture, click ';Open with';, select paint.



When the picture opens in paint, Go to ';File'; - ';Save as';.



Choose ';Save as type'; - jpg.



Specify location.



Rename the file.

when you save a photo file as a jpeg/jpg, it will reduce the file size. you can do that with windows native image editor or with many free ones out there like Gimp.

resolution and dimensions can also be changed in image editing software.
