Changing pixel size of pics on my puter? major prob!?

the pics on my puter are sized 486K to over 500.

I have tried cropping them different ways to make them smaller to email, put on 360, etc....they are too darn big and I dont know how to make them suitable.

you could use a tool such as erfan view to re-encode them at a higher level of jpeg compression, but the quality would get worse though. other than that for email, if there is a problem with sending them because of the size of the email, you could upload the photos to a flickr account or somthing and then send them the link.
