How can I change my photoshop images pixels to 300? Also can I change the pixels for Microsoft paint images?

Microsoft paint is a low quality overly simplistic image editing program. You cannot get the DPI higher than 72.

For Photoshop, the best time to increase the DPI is when you create a new image. In the box that says Resolution change that value to 300. If you already have an image an would like to increase the DPI then click Image %26gt; Image Size and change the value in the box labeled Resolution. The problem with doing this after you have created a new image is that you can't increase DPI to make the image sharper. This is because increasing DPI adds more pixels to the image. But since those pixels aren't there already, Photoshop can't just create pixels out of thin air. That's why it's best to do this when creating the new image.
