thxHow to change the pixels and the image color and the type (BMP) by using gimp ?
Well the best way to change the Pixels is to open the image, select the Rectangle selection tool (R), click on your image with the tool, hit ctrl+A to select all, hit ctrl+C to copy the image. Next hit file, New (Ctrl+N) to create a new canvas. In the config window, click on the arrow next to the Advance, and change the x %26amp; y resolution to 144, to 300 ppi. Next on this new canvas click on it and hit ctrl+V to paste you image there, next hit ctrl+H to anchor your floating image. For better quality you may want to make the new canvas size larger and scale your image up.

Bitmap is a low quality formate so I reccomend the use of .jpg/.jpeg or .png. Always be sure to save in the native format .xcf before exiting.

The Color mode would be either RGB, gray-scale, or indexed, CMYK is not currently in GIMP. I hope you find this info helpful.
